The Golden Rule: The Server Decides Everything

Every outcome in this game — every crime, every fight, every hand of blackjack, every hit — is computed and validated by the server. Nothing your browser shows you was ever calculated by your browser; it's always a report of an outcome the server already resolved before you saw it.

This is deliberate and non-negotiable. It's why the odds shown before a fight are the real odds, not a client-side estimate — and it's why there's nothing on the client worth tampering with. If something a client could compute would ever matter to the outcome, that's treated as a bug to fix, not a feature to work around.
